Why we’re stoked Super Smash Bros. is finally on handheld

Super Smash Bros. is available on handheld for the first time as of today! Here’s why were stocked this iconic series has finally made it’s debut on the 3DS: 

Perfect for on the go:

Super Smash Bros. is all about quick rounds. Even the mini games and extra modes can be completed in under 10 minutes. SSB is the perfect companion for commuters and travelers. 

More than just a brawl:

You’d think you’d get bored of a fighting game on 3DS but think again. Super Smash Bros. has a diverse offering of mini-games and challenges that will keep you entertained for hours. Every mode will push you to beat your high scores, complete every challenge and collect every piece of loot available.

Play alone or not:

You can play offline and beat the crap out of the computer or you can play with real people, and beat the crap out of them. All modes of the game except for the 3 Stadium mini-games, can be played in multiplayer. Play with your friends over a local network or online.

Smash Run:

Play a brand spankin’ new mode exclusive to the 3DS version of the game! Run through the battlefield, defeat enemies, collect boost and prepare for an epic final battle. It’s 5 minutes of sheer chaos and it’s amazing.

 

 

It’s honestly hard not to love this iteration of Super Smash Bros. Nintendo kept to the series core mechanics that made previous titles very popular. It also features an impressive roster of fighters and ways to customize them. Although it took getting used to playing this game on a smaller screen (especially if you don’t have an XL), Super Smash Bros. and the 3DS are a great match.
