We attended the Montreal Independent Games Festival (PHOTOS)

The 2015 edition of the Montreal Independent Games Festival was held yesterday. The venue was Dawson College which is appropriate considering it is home to the world’s first Independent Video Game Design Program. The event was free and opened to everyone who wanted to play video games.

One thing is for sure, Montreal loves indie games as the place was absolutely packed! As Leah and I squeezed our way through the crowd, we saw some familiar faces from IGDA’s Demo Night 2015 including Clever Endeavor Games with Ultimate Chicken Horse and Kit Fox games with Moon Hunters. We were also introduced to brand new demos we had yet to try like the puzzle game GNOG and beat game Groovy Pulse. We stayed for almost two hours and barely tried half the games that were there.
