The world’s largest digital festival is coming to Montreal. August 12 – 14th 2016, DreamHack’s first Canadian event will take place in Montreal at Place Bonaventure, with plans to make it an annual tradition.
For those who are unfamiliar, DreamHack currently holds the Guinness Book of World Record’s title of world’s largest LAN party and computer festival. DreamHack has held events throughout Europe including Stockholm and Jönköping, Sweden, Tours, France, Bucharest and Cluj, Romania, Valencia, Spain, London, England and Leipzig, Germany. This year is the first time that DreamHack is coming to North America with its inaugural US event in Austin, Texas. Montreal can now be added to the list.

The event will feature at least two major international eSports tournaments, a BYOC (bring your own computer) LAN, activities for games of all console, PC and fighting genres, cosplay contests and more.
