I hope you’re hungry cause today we are talking about video game food! If there is one thing that all video gamers have in common, it’s that we all eat. Food, its preparation and its consumption has become a standard mechanic in many games. While some feature on the process of cooking as the entire experience (Cooking Mama), others use it as a means of crafting useful items (TLoZ BotW) or as a way to connect the gamer to the character they are playing. So in this week’s episode of the GoGCast we want to serve up a conversation on food in video games, because in games, sometimes you can have your cake and eat it too.
